I’ve been gone for quite a while, but I was enjoying a long needed break.
I’m done with my fall semester of my senior year in college. Crazy! Right? I only have winter session and spring semester to go, and I’m done (for now)!
It’s Christmas Eve today! My heart feels happy and my tummy is excited 🙂
Our family celebrates the birth of Christ today. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Christ is the greatest gift of all, and I hope that you all remember what today REALLY means. Sure the presents and delicious food make today more enjoyable, but today we celebrate the greatest present that was given to humanity.
I hope you all enjoy today and tomorrow with your favorite people 🙂
I bought my Christmas Eve outfit at Nordstroms Rack. Here’s what I’ll be wearing today:
This is the front of the dress.
This is the back of the dress.
I love the bow and sequence detail!
Aren’t these gorgeous?
Black sheer tights to finish the look.
Make this and other patterns!
Whether you celebrate Christmas or Hanukkah, this DIY is perfect for this time of year.
Materials: popsicle sticks, glue, and your imagination.
Feel free to follow your own pattern, but you can follow the picture above for help.
If you have any cool DIYs you’d like me to do, let me know in the comments below!
I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving 🙂
My Thanksgiving was filled with yummy food and beautiful people…
My niece, her cheeks, and I.
This little girl is really special. She has brought so much love and joy into my family. It was her first Thanksgiving!
Mohammar and I at DCA!
Mohammar and I went to Disneyland/Disney California Adventure a day before Thanksgiving. It was so much fun, and it really set the Holiday spirit!
Bella and the “big” girls.
We spent this Thanksgiving with three other families: The Escobar (my sister’s family), The Castillo (my best friend’s family), and The Guzman. It’s nice to know that even though my extended family is far away, the love I have for them is just as deep and true. (P.S. We really missed the other Guzman family. It wasn’t the same without them!)
What’s Thanksgiving without a little (a lot of) dessert? It’s the small and sweet things in life that matter 😉
I can’t wait for Christmas!
